oops

I took Megalodon to Third Beach for a little row with my brother in law and his girl friend. It attracted a lot of attention and I was proud to answer questions people had about it. We did not go too far before my brother asked to take a turn at the oars. I was quickly reminded of the basic safety rule in small open boat. Don't stand up!!!!
A little wave at the wrong time and over we went in full view of the crowd. Talk about bruise pride!!! I would not shuffle around in a canoe and I should not stand around in my small dory.... Lesson learned... Regardless, I will use the versatility of the skin boat and modify it tonight to improve the stability.
1-the seats will be dropped 2 inches
2-intermediate stringers will be aded to improve the shape.
3-my sand bag ballast will be tied in whenever the camping gear is not loaded as ballast.
4- I will add a skeg to improve tracking.
All these should be finished within an hour.
