Kindred spirit

My island friends are in a middle of a great project. The undertook the building of a pair of skin on frame Baidarka. They are progressing at great speed. I left them on the day they were bending ribs and I can't wait to snap more pictures as they progress along. Baidarka's are among the most intriguing and graceful kayak you can imagine. I am getting inspired to try one myself.








We need to see more of these boats on the water
