Paddle again

I posted this in the local online classified:
REPLY ONLY TO sprucedragon@gmail.com
This Friday ,I will do a dry run of my new boat shop. I will take 2 people trought the process of carving a kayak Greenland paddle.
You will provide a straight 2 by4 plank of red or yellow cedar with the straightest grain you can find. It must be long enough to reach the tip of your finger when you stand with your arm extended up. (8 to 9 feet for most people.)
If you don't have said plank, I could get it for you at cost plus 15%. I will give you the receipt.
I will provide the tools, instruction and space.
The radiant heat is not in yet so dress warmly and bring a lunch.
Timing detail will be in the reply email.

Thanks

To this effect, I built a shaving horse today and I will build another one tomorrow.
Let the wood chip fly.
