Thanks to all that showed interest to my Craiglist post. A lot of questions were popping up that I should address now.
-First off, I am not a full time boatbuilder but I am a professional pilot with a light schedule.
-I do not have a commercial workshop yet, my personnal boat building is done in the basement.
-Your boat will be built at your place.
-Simultanious boat project (His and Hers) are very efficient use of time and this is what I would prefer.
-If you have a car garage or other adequate building area of at least 7 by 18, we can build your boat and I will provide all the tools and material.
-Minimum age will be 14.
-No you do not need any prior carpentry experience at all to complete this project.
-Priority will be given to North Vancouver and Vancouver resident.
-You can build your boat for the material cost of 400$ If you have a 2 car garage and 3 friends who want to build a boat also. The other participants will pay 1300$
-I will not give paddling lesson because I am not certified to do so.
-I can meet anyone who would like to talk about the project. Email me your phone number and we will meet at Starbucks on Lonsdale in North Vancouver.
